Prima Finnabair Art Basics Super Heavy Body Gel

Transparent, flexible, permanent, extra heavy body, acrylic medium with a gloss finish. Adds heavy body to paints; mixes with pigments, inks and paints; helps create dimensional texture holding very high peaks. Excellent 3D collage adhesive or as a base for thick, custom gels. Water-based. Archival safe. Non-toxic.

Please note: the product labels states “Heavy Body Gel” however, ReDesign with Prima product description states “Super Heavy Body Gel”. This is the same product. 

How to apply:                

Brush on, dab or sponge onto your projects. Apply with a palette knife, texture tool, or fingers.

Uses/Project Examples 

• Use Art Basics Heavy Body Gel to add dimension to projects.
• Mix with paint or pigment powders to add color.
• Use to glue on castings from moulds or glue on embellishments or collage, journaling, scrapbook media. 
• Use with stencils to stencil raised designs with dimension to projects. When dry, paint, embellish, add color waxes, etc... Mix in glitter while still wet if desired.
• Example: Create a frost effect on glass by dabbing or sponging on Art Basics Heavy Body Gel. Add snowy effect,  glitter, etc...
• Allow several hours to dry properly.
• Use in area(s) with proper ventilation.
