This Paper Mache Shaker Style Round Band Box has been handcrafted in the spirit of a small old-fashioned-style bent-band cheese box. The Shakers were known for their simple, utilitarian design aesthetic.

NOTE: the "holes" on the side of the lid and body of box are superficial and do not go all the way through the box--this is part of the bend-band cheese box style. You could perforate the holes all the way through and string ribbon or twine for a cute accent to tie the lid onto the box.
